General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) announced in April 2020 that successful USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) Flight Deck Certification (FDC) had been completed with the support of the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) system.
