The Evolution of IAI/Boeing Arrow ATBM: The first battery at Palmachim Airbase south of Tel Aviv became operational in October 2000 followed by one in Ein Shemer to the south of Haifa in 2002. They are deployed in such a manner that the coverage of the systems overlaps over vital military, commercial installations and concentrated civilian population.
