
Mr. Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister of India applauded the Brahmos supersonic cruise missile system. He was briefed about the universal Brahmos supersonic cruise missile system by Dr. Sudhir Kumar Mishra, DS & DG (BrahMos), DRDO and CEO & MD, BrahMos Aerospace, being exhibited at the pavilion along with other 'Make In India' products and systems.
Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria, Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force also visited the BrahMos Aerospace pavilion and was apprised about the Brahmos and the milestone achievements made by the India-Russia Joint Venture programme. The Indian Air Force has recently inducted a squadron of Sukhoi-30 MKI fighter aircraft, with the capability to carry the supersonic cruise missiles, at its Thanjavur airbase on 20 January 2020.
BrahMos Aerospace exhibited its Brahmos air-launched version besides the land-attack and anti-ship variants of the ‘world-class’ supersonic cruise missile system at the international defence exhibition.
